About me
Joshua Greenberg is the interim GIS manager for the Washington Department of Ecology and has been the hydrography steward for the State for the last four years. Before working at Ecology he spent 20 years as a senior GIS analyst for a local government focusing on environmental and remote sensing projects. Josh has served on the board of the Puget Sound ASPRS, WA chapter of URISA, and is currently on the board of the Washington GIS Association. Josh earned his B.A. in Geography from the University of Vermont with a minor degree in Zoology. In 1991 he moved to Washington State where he completed his M.S. and Ph.D. from the U.W. College of Forest Resources Ecosystem Science program. When he isn’t getting paid to geek out, he is often out hiking, making espresso drinks, paddling the kayak his wife built, or cooking pizzas in his wood fired oven.
